# MARC DENUIT
### DJ • PRODUCER • FOUNDER OF XBEAT RADIO & OXYTOCIN RECORDS

Born in Belgium into a family of musicians and orchestra conductors, **Marc Denuit** was surrounded by music from an early age. At just 15, he began performing with jazz and New Orleans orchestras, developing a strong musical foundation.

In 1981, he also entered the world of radio, influenced by New Wave, the emergence of electronic instruments and, later, the Belgian New Beat phenomenon that transformed the country's club scene.

**In 1985, Marc was discovered by a nightclub owner and began his career as a DJ.** Years of residencies and guest appearances throughout Belgium allowed him to share the decks and connect with some of the finest Belgian and international DJs.

From 1991 onwards, Marc became increasingly influenced by Progressive electronic music, particularly through **Phi Phi**, the legendary Belgian DJ associated with Extreme and At The Villa.

He subsequently joined the iconic **Club Mackenzie**, alongside Patrick Fasseau, where he held a Friday and Saturday residency for **12 years**. During this period, he also performed at some of Belgium's most celebrated clubs, including At The Villa, Fuse, La Bush, Palladium, Escape and Pulse Factory.

By the early 2000s, his musical direction evolved further towards Progressive House, inspired by artists such as **Nick Warren, Sasha, John Digweed, Luke Brancaccio, Matthew Dekay and Chris Cargo**.

After many years behind the decks, Marc moved into music production, forming the duo **Innerphonic** with Mad Gregor.

In 2018, the duo enjoyed a successful year on Caravelle Records with releases including *Orient Doors*, *Shade Stereo*, *Aurora Fragments* and *Garden Rivage*.

Constantly exploring new sounds, Innerphonic established its own label, **Faraway Scope**, while also releasing music on internationally respected labels such as 3rd Avenue, Massive Harmony Records, SLC-6 Music, BC2, AH Digital, Superordinate Music and Bonzai Progressive.

Throughout his musical journey, Marc has connected and collaborated within the Progressive House scene with artists including **Emi Galvan, Luciano Scheffer, Roger Martinez, Madloch, Navar, GMJ, Matter, Alex Efe and Rick Pier O'Neil**.

**September 2022 marked a new chapter as Marc Denuit launched his solo production career.** His music found its way onto labels including 3rd Avenue, Soundeluxe Records, AH Digital, Droid9 and Consapevole Recordings.

He also reunited with his longtime friend **Phi Phi**, this time in the studio rather than behind the decks, resulting in four releases on the legendary Belgian label Bonzai Progressive.

At the end of 2023, Marc founded his first record label, **Oxytocin Records**, dedicated to progressive, melodic and atmospheric electronic music. Its catalogue has featured artists such as Heaven Inc, Bjorn Fogelberg, Fiddler, Alex Efe, Lila Rose YU, Diego Berrondo, Leandro Murua, Steven Doyle, Christian Monique, Ignace Paepe, Simeon Fuchs and Wattoom.

In late 2024, he expanded his musical vision by launching a second label, **Subtyl Music**, focusing on Deep Progressive sounds and Old School influences.

Throughout 2025 and 2026, Marc continued to develop his production work through collaborations with **Steven Doyle, Monde6 and Deep Moodsetter**. Tracks such as *Oase*, *Driftline*, *Space Based* and *XTC VOID* reflect his signature approach to Progressive House: deep atmospheres, melodic textures, hypnotic grooves and a strong connection to his musical roots.

His collaboration *Space Based* with Monde6 was featured in Beatport's Best New Hype Progressive House selection in September 2026, while *Oase*, produced with Steven Doyle, received support from Hernán Cattáneo.

Alongside his production career, Marc is also the driving force behind **XBEAT Radio**, an international electronic music web station bringing together DJs, producers and shows dedicated to Deep House, Progressive House, Organic House, Indie Dance and electronic classics.

Every Friday at 20:00, he presents **Favorite of the Week**, showcasing his personal selections and discoveries from the electronic music scene. He also shares his Progressive House vision through his *Oxytocin* show on Proton Radio.

**From jazz orchestras to legendary Belgian nightclubs, from the early days of electronic music to today's Progressive House productions, Marc Denuit has spent more than four decades following one passion: discovering, sharing and evolving with electronic music.**
