DAVE H — DAVID HANSEL
Dave H, real name David Hansel, is a DJ with a long-standing passion for electronic music. His musical journey began in the early 1990s, initially influenced by Trance, before moving towards Deep House and eventually finding his true musical identity in Progressive House.
Inspired by artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren and Guy J, Dave H has developed a style that is atmospheric, melodic, deep and groovy. The construction of his sets plays an essential role in his approach: rather than simply playing a succession of tracks, he creates genuine musical journeys that gradually evolve in intensity.
His selections can move from warm and organic sounds towards deeper Progressive House and even Melodic Techno. Among the artists regularly inspiring his musical universe are Simos Tagias, Dowden, Dmitry Molosh, Kasper Koman, Tonaco and Mike Rish.
Over the years, Dave H has appeared on various international radio stations and platforms, including PFG Movement, Saturo Sounds, Progresivna Suza, Elements on Proton, Night Grooves, The Future Is Now, Unity, Droid9 Label Showcase and Not By Rituals. He has also performed at events in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, including during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and in Ghent.
As a resident artist on XBEAT Radio, Dave H presents his concept PROGRESSIVE PEARLS, a show entirely dedicated to his vision of Progressive House: deep, melodic, emotional and carefully constructed as a true musical journey.
